Stanley Buys

He was born in Bayshore Long Island, New York and moved to Florida in 1976 coming from West Sayville, New York.

Before retiring, Stanley was a commercial fisherman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dolores; son, Timothy John Buys and his wife Susan, daughter Deborah Kay Sharkey and her husband Kevin; grandchildren, Kate Weigerink and her husband Tom, Sarah Nortelus and her husband Eli, Stanley Buys and his wife Marcie, Jessica McLain and her husband George, Michael Sharkey; great grandchildren, Kaj and Macie Wiegerink, Savannah and Tobias Nortelus, Zasha and Zacharyah Buys and Kate McLain; sister, Linda Coster; and brother John W. Buys.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Priscilla Ann Collins and his granddaughter, Molly Gabriel Sharkey.

A service will be held on July 31st at 2:30 pm at Peace Presbyterian Church on Cove Road, Stuart, Florida. A reception will follow the service at Pine Lakes Gardens and Estates Clubhouse 1, South Federal Highway, Stuart Florida.
