

born in Hartford, Connecticut on April 25, 1955 and had lived in Florida since 1985.
Pete grew up in West Hartford, CT and graduated from the Watkinson School. He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute and was the proprietor of Sailfish Irrigation.
Pete was known as a man of great kindness with a giving heart. He had an unflinching love for his family and always found time to reach out and talk to his friends and family, especially on holidays. He loved fishing and boating on both the Connecticut and Florida shores and had a passion for football, originally the New England Patriots and then the Miami Dolphins. He will always be remembered for his love of pets, his bellowing laugh, and his snakeskin cowboy boots.
He is survived by his sisters, Sally P. Lawrence and her husband, Larry, of Greenwich, CT, Nancy P. Adelman and her husband, Michael, of North Wales, PA, and his stepbrother, Robert Patricelli and his wife Margaret of Simsbury, CT. He was the “cool uncle” to his nieces and nephews: Laura Philipson, (Stephen), Steven Adelman (Betsy McCallon), Thomas Adelman (Evelyn), Jesse Lawrence (Mary Elizabeth), Peter Lawrence (Kendall), Benjamin Lawrence, Christina Lawrence and seven grand-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley L. Peterson and Isabel Scoville Peterson Patricelli, his stepfather, Leonard J. Patricelli, and his grandparents, John H. and Bertha Scoville, and Peter A. and Jenny Peterson.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
