Bill Redditt was born August 15, 1926 in Palm City and grew up in Port Salerno, Florida.
After graduating from Stuart High School in 1944 he enlisted in the Army Air Corp. He settled in Jacksonville, FL working at Ford Motor Company for 17 years. He met his wife Virginia while she too worked at Ford Motor Company. They married November 26, 1952 and moved their family to Stuart in 1968 where they owned and operated Bill Redditt Ford, Inc. along with their 2 sons, Steve and Jamie. The family-owned business was sold in 1998.
Bill is pre-deceased by his wife, Virginia and is survived by his sons and their families: Steve & Jeannie Redditt of Cleveland, GA, Jamie & Sandra Redditt of Port Salerno, FL., 3 grandchildren Stephanie & Donald Redditt-Yates of Denver, Colorado, Johnathan & Noell Redditt of Palm City, FL, Jillian Redditt of Port St. Lucie, FL, 2 great grandchildren Payton Redditt and Ava Morefield
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 25th at 5pm at the Aycock Funeral Home , 505 S. Federal Hwy, Stuart.
