David Perry

David Owen Perry, 65, of Waynesboro, passed away on Tuesday July 24, 2012 at his residence.

Mr. Perry was born on March 4, 1947 in Richmond, VA and was a son of Emmett Wilson and Elta (Arpaia) Perry. David was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1967 until 1971. Following his military service, Mr. Perry was a dedicated civil service employee. He greatly enjoyed playing golf, and loved to study the law.

On February 6, 1982, he married Linda Perry who survives.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Perry is survived by a son, David H. Perry; two daughters, Michelle Tice and Angela J. Perry; a brother, Michael Perry; and three grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10 AM at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Charles Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at 2 PM at Culpeper National Cemetery. The Perry family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 7 pm at the funeral home.
