Dennis Wayne Yamrose passed peacefully after a long, hard fought battle with cancer on June 13, 2018 at his new home in Dunnellon, FL with Dennis, Kim and MaKenzi Yamrose at his side. Dennis was born in Johnstown, PA on the 26th of December 1938 to the late John and Elizabeth (Galayda) Yamrose. He had one sister, Joanne (Yamrose) Murin who passed years earlier. His brother-in-law and dedicated life-long friend, Albert Murin still resides in the home in Johnstown; where Dennis grew up. His loving wife, Rosalie passed two and half years earlier in Fishersville, VA. Dennis graduated from Franklin High School in June 1956 and enlisted in the United States Navy on the 19th of June immediately after graduation. He served honorably for three years and five months with two years, 4 months and 16 days served overseas. Dennis was highly recommended for re-enlistment; however he chose to pursue a career in business. He built the Dominion Equipment Sales Company, a restaurant design and equipment supply company from the ground up and served the Augusta County, VA community for over thirty years. Dennis was an avid outdoor sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fly-fishing. He was a life time member of Trout Unlimited and spent many hours with the local Trout Unlimited in Waynesboro, VA to preserve local cold water fisheries. He was a man who could solve any problem and fix anything that was broken. Left to cherish his memory is his sons, Dennis and daughter-in-law, Kim Yamrose, Douglas Yamrose, Mike Hearn; daughter, Vicki (Lovegrove) Rose, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren;brother-in-law, Albert.
