Donald R. "Don" Harvey

Born December 12, 1955 in West Virginia, he was a son of the late Earl and Marie (Estept) Harvey. On June 14, 1987 he married Yvonne Holbert. The two shared 37 wonderful years of marriage.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vicky Harvey; and a brother, Richard Harvey.

Prior to retirement, Don was employed by C & T Durham Trucking Company where he was a faithful employee for many years. He was a U.S. veteran having served his country honorably with the Army while stationed in Korea. Don was a member of Lighthouse Ministries of Buena Vista. He greatly enjoyed going golfing, playing bass guitar, and was fascinated by trains and tractors. He will be remembered as a loving husband, proud father and grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many.

Survivors include his loving wife, Yvonne (Holbert) Harvey of Staunton; two sons, Travis Harvey and wife, Amanda of Raphine and Dustin Harvey and wife, Keisha of Curwensville, PA; four grandchildren, Malaina, Madison, Hunter, and Koen Harvey; seven siblings, Ken Harvey, Dale Harvey, Trudy Verdine, Shirley Hawkins, Cathy Zimmerman, Carolyn Whitlow, and Lula Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025 Raphine Christian Church, 5131 Lee Jackson Highway, Greenville. The family will receive friends following the service.
