Duane Paul Gallaugher

Stuarts Draft, VA Duane Paul Gallaugher, 69, of Stuarts Draft, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday November 4, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Duane was born on March 11, 1943 in Evanston, IL and was a son of the late Clinton William and Claire Pauline (Rumpca) Gallaugher. Duane retired in 2009 from Unisul, a division of CertainTeed as a Production Manager. He greatly enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and playing golf. Duane was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who will greatly miss him. His wife, the former Jennifer Glister met and married Duane on October 24, 1963 whilst he was in the United States Air Force in England and they had just celebrated their 49th anniversary In addition to his wife, Duane is survived by a daughter, Tracey Tucker and husband Steven of Grand Island, FL; two sons, Guy Gallaugher and wife Hatsumi of Temecula, CA and Gary Gallaugher and wife Michelle of Stuarts Draft; eight grandchildren, Allison, Trevor and Olivia Tucker, Aya, Rika and Nami Gallaugher, Ian and Emma Gallaugher; two great-grandchildren, Xander and Lucian Folgore; Sister-in-law, Lorna Honnig and husband Bill of Eustis, FL; niece Nicole Eber and husband Kris; nephew Kyle Honnig and Baby Noah; and his beloved dog “Cookie” if only love was enough……….. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday November 8, 2012 at 5 PM at Church on the Hill with Pastor Shane Lilley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
