Esther Davis "Sue" Martin

Born February 6, 1924 in Augusta County, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Lena (Weaver) Davis. On May 30, 1946 she married Clinton Earl Martin and the two shared a blessed union of 72 years.

Sue was a dedicated member of Springdale Mennonite Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Dean Ray Martin; brothers, Carl, Chester and Willis Davis; and sisters, Anna Mary Moore and Katherine Cullen.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Gary Martin and wife, Pat and Dale Martin and wife, Paula all of Stuarts Draft; grandchildren, Kari Hollinger and husband, Chris, Karla Martin, Katie Martin and Logan Martin and wife, Madelene; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Springdale Mennonite Church, 170 Hall School Road, Waynesboro.

Following a private graveside service, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the church with Pastors Kevin and Denise Goertzen officiating.
