Franky Claytor

Bill Franklin “Franky” Claytor, Jr., 33, of Staunton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 18, 2017. Born July 30, 1983 in Waynesboro, he was the son of Bill Franklin Claytor, Sr. and Donna Faye (Fitzgerald) Claytor. On May 26, 2012 he married the love of his life and best friend, Winter (Fisher) Claytor. Franky was employed with DSC Logistics in Lofton, VA where he worked as an inventory clerk and also as General Manager at RooVapes, Waynesboro. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, camping, RC trucks, motorcycles and four wheelers. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Those who knew him will miss him always tinkering and tearing apart things, his big smile and bear hugs. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Yourtha and Yvonne Claytor; special uncle, Mike Claytor; as well as his two best friends who he is now united again with, Rayburn Harris, Jr. and Travis Breeden. In addition to his loving wife and parents, survivors include his daughter, Brittany Claytor; brother, Paul Wayne Claytor and wife, Jenna of Fishersville; maternal grandparents, Charles and Lea Fitzgerald of Lyndhurst; special grandparents, Lenard and Jane Fainter; nieces and nephews, Isaiah Scott Claytor, Zachary Allan Claytor, Calleigh Elizabeth Claytor and Dillon Thomas Fox; special dad to, Jonathan Berry, Jeremiah Floyd, Jerrett Floyd and Jozilyn Floyd; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway, with The Rev. Sarah Locke officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the funeral home.
