

Mrs. Watts was born on December 3, 1946 in Augusta County and was a daughter of the late Richard and Minnie (Dudley) Pannell. She worked as a wrapper for Hershey for 30 years prior to her retirement. She attended Rankins Creek Worship Center. Judy loved to fish and spend time with her family and her beloved dog Brownie.
She is survived by her husband of more than 50 years, James Edward Watts.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Watts is survived by her children, Richard Watts and wife Tammy R. Nutty of Staunton, Rebecca Edwards and husband Darrell of Lyndhurst; a stepson, Keith Watts and Tammy Cowgill of Stuarts Draft; two granddaughters, Brooke Edwards, Mackenize Watts; two step-grandchildren, Jacob Watts, Rachel Watts; and her special caregivers, Melissa Kesterson, Becca Lowery, Barbara Thompson, Cayla Batman.
Judy was preceded in death by a sister, Georgia Mullins.
The family would also like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of Augusta Health for the loving care they provided during her illness.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11 AM at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastor Rob Via officiating.
Friends may sign the register book on Tuesday evening April 26, 2022 from 5 until 7 PM at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. The family will not be present.
