Mark Lewis Johnson

Born December 5, 1956 in Staunton, he was the son of the late Harry Crawford and Frances Jane (Jett) Johnson.

Mr. Johnson had previously been employed by the URS Corporation where he worked as an Environmental Consultant. Mark loved his three children and his dog. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, liked watching T.V. and enjoyed listening to the rock band, The Beatles.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn (Sartain) Johnson; children, Sean Christopher Johnson of Manassas, Va., Caitlin Elizabeth Johnson of Manassas, Va. and McKinsey Leigh Johnson of Waynesboro, Va.; granddaughters, Lylah-Ani Marie Johnson of Falls Church, Va. and soon to be born, Aleska Grace Carpenter; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles and Dawn Evans; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 1870 Stuarts Draft Highway.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to help assist the family with medical expenses in c/o Dawn Johnson, 1149 White Hill Road, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 in Mark’s memory or to a charity of your choice.
