

Born November 28, 1944 in Roanoke, he was the son of the late Lester and Grace (Meade) Jenkins.
On October 30, 1981 he married the love of his life Bea L. Jenkins. The two shared a blessed union of 31 years together.
Ronald was a man of faith and was an active member of White Hill Church of the Brethren. He made a living working in the construction business until his retirement. When he was not spending time with his family, he enjoyed wood working, watching NASCAR and always tinkering with items to make them work. He will be remembered by those who knew his as a practical jokester.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Jenkins.
In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his two daughters, April Lints and boyfriend, Larry Nelson of Babson Park, FL and Jenny Hernandez and husband, David of Lake Wales, Fl; grandchildren, Shane Lints, McKenna Lints, Ian Arnold and Christopher Hernandez; brother, Thomas Jenkins; Aunt, Gladys Crist and husband, Raleigh of Lexington; as well as numerous special nieces and nephews and extended family.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at White Hill Church of the Brethren with Rev. James Chappell and Rev. David Chappell officiating. The family will receive friends in the foyer of the church from 3:00 P.M until 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday.
