Violet May Campbell

She was born August 29, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Harry Emerson and Eva Ethel ( Ryder) Brumbaugh.

Violet was a homemaker and a life-long member of White Hill Church of the Brethren and of Mt. Vernon Church of the Brethren in Stuarts Draft.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Remus Garland Mullins, her second husband, William E. Campbell, and son, Jeffery W. Campbell. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn, Mildred, Pauline; brothers, Willis, Ralph, Harold and Willard.

Survivors include her son, Clinton E. Campbell and his wife, Queenie of Stuarts Draft; daughters, Glenda Fitzgerald, Doris Ann Trant and husband Bruce; brother, Marvin E. Brumbaugh; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and seven great- great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Mt. Vernon Church of the Brethren with Pastor Dwight Roetto officiating. A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.

Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Andrew, Dillan, Wyatt, Shane and men of the church.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
