Born March 29, 1928 in Newton, the son of M. William and Mildred (Shane) Wallace. Mr. Wallace worked as a teacher at Newton High School for many years until his retirement in 1983.
He is survived by two children, one brother and many extended relatives and friends.
Interment with military honors will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1PM at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02118.
