Bertrand Charles Sellier

Bert C. Sellier, 96, of Sudbury, MA, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Bert was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and a man of deep character. He will be cherished and greatly missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in his life. A man of strong faith, Bert found enduring comfort and solace in his relationship with God.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Bert was a proud graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School and Villanova University. He honorably served his country in the United States Army and was deployed to Japan.

Bert married Margaret Polk and together they raised four sons: Randy, Paul, John, and Mark. In 1968, he relocated his family from Philadelphia to Wayland, Massachusetts, where they built a loving home and strong community ties. Bert enjoyed a successful career as a Sales Executive with Chandler Leasing for over twenty years. With a lifelong passion for aviation, Bert later founded Aircraft Finance Group in Framingham, MA, where he built a thriving and successful business.

Bert married the love of his life, Linda, and together they shared more than 40 wonderful years in Sudbury and Stow. They were devoted members of Sacred Heart Parish in Sudbury, where Bert served as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and Saint Vincent de Paul Society. Bert and Linda formed many lasting friendships through their church and community involvement. Together, Bert and Linda shared a love of travel, exploring Europe and destinations across the United States, creating cherished memories along the way.

Bert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Linda.

He is survived by his sons, Randy, Paul, John, Greg and Mark; his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Catherine, Brian, Jennifer, Jesse, Christopher, Nick, Alex, Erik and Haley; and his great-grandchildren, Lucy, Avery, Ivey, and Stella.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Duckett Funeral Home, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury, MA.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury, MA, followed by burial at Old Town Cemetery in Sudbury, MA.
