James F McCauley, born on April 11, 1938, passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 87. A long-time resident of Sudbury, Massachusetts, James was born in Woburn, MA to James McCauley Sr. and Anne McCauley (Hurley).
James attended high school before his adventurous and patriotic spirit led him to enroll in the Army upon completion of high school. Throughout his life, James gathered much experience as a soldier, a police officer, and enjoyed a long managerial career in the lumber industry.
James was passionate about his family, Civil War history, sports, boating, biking, reading, and eating delicious foods.
James was enlisted for years in the military before returning to begin a family with Anne McCauley (Snow).
James is survived by his beloved wife Anne of 66 years, and his sons Christopher & Scott, and daughter Patricia, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchilden .
