

Marybeth T. Murphy, 50, of Framingham, died at her home Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her wife, Karen Austin, of Framingham and her parents, Joan and Charlie Murphy of Hudson. She also leaves behind her sister and brother in law, Tara Andrews and William, and their 3 children; Katelyn, Catherine and Michael of Upton; and her sister and brother in law, Coleen Murphy-LaCroix and Ray, and their three children; Nicole, Danielle and Jimi of Mendon. Marybeth received her undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst followed by her master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania. As an accomplished Landscape Architect, she helped design many parks, city streets and bike trails in an effort to make the world a more beautiful place. She courageously fought a 10 year battle with ovarian cancer and her forever smiling face
will be sorely missed. Visitation will be Sat., Sept. 24, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the
Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd, Rt. 20, Sudbury. There will also be a visitation at the funeral home Sunday, Sept 25, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm with a closing celebration service with words of remembrance from 12:30 to 1:00 o’clock. Marybeth requested memorial donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to VNA Care Hospice, Inc., 333 Turnpike St., Southborough, MA 01772.
