

Bob was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on April 24, 1936. He was the son of the late John J Clark and Mary Lavey Clark. He spent his first 17 years in Somerville, and the past 49 years in Sudbury.
Bob was a magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Program in 1957. He also earned his Masters Degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
Bob took great pride in being a 40 year member of the prestigious engineering Tau Beta Pi Society while enjoying a successful career over 4 decades as an electrical engineer. This includes 28 years at Honeywell as well as significant career time spent at other prominent electronics companies such as Raytheon and RCA.
His passions included nearly 5 decades as an active Saint Anselm's Catholic Church Parishioner, Catholic Charities, travel abroad, classical music, chess, ancient and modern history, and current literature to name a few items. Of course, above all he treasured his time with his wife Rita, 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
Besides his wife Rita of Sudbury, he is survived by his son Martin and his wife Grace of Nanuet NY, daughter Elaine Stratman and her husband Greg of Worcester, daughter Rachel LeComte and her husband Bill of Burlington plus grandchildren Giovanni, Aidan, Arianna, Kyle, Renee, and Nathan. Also, Bob leaves behind his brother Joseph of Somerville, brother John and his wife Patricia of Ithaca NY, and brother Edward and his wife Rose of Ashland Massachusetts. Bob also had a late sister Mary Evelyn Whelan of Reading Mass who passed away in June 2011.
Calling hours will be from 4-8pm Thursday, October 31st at the Duckett-J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road, Sudbury. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday, November 1st, at Saint Anselm Church, 100 Landham Road, Sudbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Anselm's Church, 100 Landham Road, Sudbury MA 01776 in memory of Robert Clark's name.
