

Robert Langon Davison of Holliston passed away in his home on Tuesday August 17, 2010. He was born May 14,1929 in Waynesburg, PA, the son of the late Frederick Davison and Dorothy Poindexter. He attended Waynesburg High School, then enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa. He received a BSEE Degree in Electrical Engineering from Indiana Institute of Technology in Ft. Wayne IN., worked for several major corporations including Bell Aircraft, Polaroid, Sylvania and Gillette, and also taught at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston MA. He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity He was a Past President of the South Middlesex NAACP and Deacon Emeritus as well as one of the original founders of the Greater Framingham Community Church. He was an avid sportsman and loved horses. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 yrs, Pauline Catherine Ford; daughter, Patricia Davison Lewis, Esq.; son, Robert L Davison Jr., M.D.; sisters, Lillian Allen, Susan Patterson, Leora LaTorrijne, Jeanette Campbell; brother, Norman Davison; grandchildren; Celeste Davison and Christopher and Jeffrey Lewis and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. . Preceding him in death were brothers Lawrence, George, Frank, and sister Henrietta. Funeral services will be held on August 30, 2010 at the DIGNITY MEMORIAL PROVIDER, DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, 520 South Washington Street, Alexandria ,Va 22314, 703 549 0074 The Viewing will be from 10 am-12pm; Services at 12:00 o’clock noon with burial to follow at 2pm at Quantico National Cemetery 18424 Joplin Rd.
