

Royce Parker Greenwood of Sudbury, MA, died August 13, 2017 at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the loving husband of Barbara Greenwood, with whom he built a life in Sudbury. Royce loved camping with his family and was a lifetime member of the Good Sam Camping Club. He was also an active member of the Walsh chapter of Masons in Maynard, MA. Along with camping, Royce enjoyed gardening, hunting, being outdoors, country music, and above all, spending time with his family. Along with his wife, he leaves behind four children and their spouses: Royce “Rusty” Greenwood, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Hopkinton, MA, Sandy Restivo and her husband John of New Hartford, NY, Peter Greenwood and his wife Carol of Northborough, MA, and Deidra Columbus and her husband Ernie of Marlborough, MA. He is also survived by a sister, Marsha Morrow-Dulier of FL, and sister-in-law Nancy Vann of Georgia. Royce had nine surviving grandchildren: Melissa, Timothy, Royce III (Chip), William, Paige, Peter Jr. (PJ), Jordan, Sidney and Sabrina, along with 6 great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Ysabelle, Melanie, Royce IV (Parker), William, and Jackson, as well as a great-grandson due in October. A family friend who was like a son, Gary Harvey, his wife Jane, and their girls Kristin and Courtney, who were his proxy grandchildren, also survive. A visitation will be held Friday, August 18, from 5-7 pm, followed by a funeral service at 7 pm at the Duckett-JS Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd, Sudbury, MA.
