

Polito, Vincent A., 84, of Framingham, MA died peacefully on March 5th, 2015 surrounded by his family. Former husband of Margaret Polito of Stuart, FL. Devoted father to Gregg and his wife Cathy of Shrewsbury, Gary and his wife Mary of Sudbury, Glenn of Jamaica Plain, Gabrielle Polito of Franklin, Gayle Polito-Jones of Framingham, and Vincent Jr. of Pennsylvania. “Papa” is also survived by his grandchildren Branden and Kelcie Jones, Amanda Polito and her fiancé, Bryan Moreno, Michael Polito, and great-granddaughter, Ava Moreno. Vincent grew up in East Boston, the son of the late Joseph and Louise Polito and brother of the late Joseph Jr. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Over the course of his career as a mechanical draftsman he worked for Raytheon, GTE, and StanMar. Vincent loved his family and his country and was a passionate Boston Bruins and Red Sox fan. He enjoyed spending time in Nevada, and taking long road trips. An avid candlepin bowler, he bowled for many years in candlepin leagues in East Boston and at the former Sudbury Bowladrome in Sudbury. Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 15th, at the Duckett – J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd. (Rt. 20) SUDBURY. Interment will be private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vincent’s memory may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
