Aaron Joseph Duffany

Aaron Joseph Duffany, 18 of Chestnut Ridge, New York passed away on August 31,2015 after a heroic year long battle with T-Cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. He was a student at Spring Valley High School. He is survived by his mother Nicole Martinez, his sister Olivia Duffany, his father Peter Duffany and Toni Uzzalino of Park Ridge, NJ, his grandparents Lynn and Ingvar Cederberg of Chestnut Ridge, NY and Helen and Bill Duffany of Huddleston, VA. He is survived by his aunts and uncles; Billy and Shelly Duffany of Port Murray, NJ, Eileen Duffany of Suffern, NY, Lisa and John Waddon of Whippany, NJ, Steven and Julie Duffany of Haworth, NJ, Debi and Tony Donofrio of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Diane and Pete Andresen of Old Tappan, NJ and twenty loving cousins. He was predeceased by his uncle Mike Duffany, and aunt Cathy Flagg (fiancee of Frank Lynch).

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Monday, September 7, 2015, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A funeral service honoring his life will take place at the funeral home at 10 am, September 8, 2015 with the interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Aaron's name to Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley would be greatly appreciated.
