Anna Anne M. Giannelli

Anna “Anne” M. Giannelli of Nanuet, NY passed away on April 17, 2014, she was 84. Born in New York City on January 8, 1930 to the late Ralph and Rose Giannelli. Anna dedicated her entire life to being the primary caregiver to multiple family members. She had a captivating personality which drew all near. She always accepted and loved everyone as family. Anna was a devoted member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Ann in Piermont, NY and an active parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet, NY.

She is survived by her second cousins; Laura Gemiganini, Deanna Caglione, Bobby (Patricia) Papini, Loretta Hyde, Michael Papini, third cousins; Vikki (Ken), Mary, Ryan, Robert, Tara, Emma, fourth cousins; Mark, Robert, Andrew, sister-in-law; Lilly Giannelli, deeply cherished godson; Steve (Cara) Colantino and a few great friends. Anna is also predeceased by her siblings; Jack Giannelli and Evelyn Giannelli.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00pm. A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Church, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00am with the entombment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY.
