Barbara A. Cole

Barbara was born in NYC, and then moved to Rockland with her late husband John J, where they raised 3 children. She is survived by her loving children John P (Lucille), Maureen, & Patricia. Also surviving are her loving Grandchildren John M (Katie) Cole, Quentin J Mariano, Nikki, & Julianna Cole, her sister Kathie (John) Littler, Sister in law Marcella Paller.

Barbara retired from Orange & Rockland Utilities after many years. She volunteered at BirthRight. Barbara’s greatest passion, her grandchildren, their dreams and journey through life. She was a true New York Mets fan. She knew their lineup, their strengths and weaknesses. Her enthusiasm was so great that the neighborhood always knew how the Mets were doing. She also loved playing mahjong and crocheting blankets.

Visitation, Sunday July 5, 2015 7-9pm, Monday July 6, 2015 2-4 & 7-9PM Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, in Suffern, NY. Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday July 7, 2015 11:30AM, St. Anthony's Church, 36 W Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY.
