

Carl Valentino Greaux, born on May 27, 1960, in “The Bronx”, New York, peacefully departed this life to be with the Lord on March 18, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Carl L. Greaux and Mildred Garrett Greaux.
Carl received his early education at Saddle River Day School and continued his academic journey at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Communications. Following his graduation, Carl built a successful career, serving in various leadership roles at Verizon Wireless and Epix. In 1997, he pursued his entrepreneurial vision by founding CVG Partners, a real estate development company.
In 2003, Carl was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lisa Brooks. Their bond was one of deep love and commitment, and they were truly inseparable. Together, they shared a passion for travel and enjoyed exploring destinations around the world, creating cherished memories wherever they went. A hallmark of Carl and Lisa’s marriage was their shared commitment to mentoring and guiding young people. Together, they gave back by investing their time, wisdom, and care into the lives of others, leaving a lasting impact on many young men and women.
Carl had a vibrant and engaging personality. Known for his gift of conversation, any person Carl met was never a stranger; he could speak knowledgeably on any subject. His love for people was genuine, and his spirit was remarkably generous. As an avid photographer, Carl had a keen eye for capturing life’s special moments. He also had a deep appreciation for music of all genres and took great joy in supporting emerging and young artists.
Carl’s spiritual foundation was rooted at Faith Assembly of God Church, where he served faithfully in various capacities. Answering God’s call to ministry, he became a dedicated Sunday School teacher for young adults. He was especially passionate about mentoring young men, guiding them in their personal growth and helping them understand what it means to live as a Christian man.
Carl leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories: his devoted wife, Dr. Lisa Brooks Greaux of New Jersey; his sister, Kim Greaux Raman (Dave) of Pennsylvania; his brother-in-law, Joseph L. Brooks (Lamarda) of Florida; his three nieces, Jasmine Black (Jeron) of Pennsylvania, Sha Farley of Texas, Chauryce Rector (Donnell) of Florida; his nephew, Joshua Pierce of New Jersey, along with a host of other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him across the country.
Carl’s life was a testament to love, faith, and connection.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
