

Dominick was born on August 26, 1925 to Lorenzo Frascella and Marietta Frascella in Manhattan, NY. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Bronx, NY in 1942. He worked in the motion picture/entertainment industry for over 40 years until his retirement in 1991. He was a true New Yorker at heart and loved working and living in the city.
Dominick married the love of his life, Rose Marino in 1952, who predeceased him in 1988. Dominick and Rose had a wonderful life together and were lovers of the theatre and cooking Italian food with their family. Dominick is survived by his two children, Robert Frascella of Suffern, NY and Lisa Hraska of Massapequa, NY and his daughter-in-law Randi Frascella. He will be greatly missed by his six grandchildren: Allison (28), Rose (24), Melissa (24), Francesca (22), David (20) and Christopher (17). Dominick outlived his two sisters, Mary Benevento and Helen DePalo, whom he was very close to.
Dominick was an active member of the Stonegate Condominiums Board of Trustees, dedicating over 20 years of his time. He enjoyed managing the property as well as the former Stonegate pool along with his fellow board members.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23 from 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM and Friday, January 24 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00 PM-9:00 PM at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home (177 Route 59, Suffern, NY). A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Bronx, NY and Cavalry Cemetery in Woodside, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dominick’s name to either of the following organizations:
The DZ Foundation, a nonprofit organization in loving memory of Daniel Zolotorofe, who was a dear friend to the Frascella Family, who lost his battle to type 1 diabetes at only 20-years-old.
