Florence Romano age 85 passed away peacefully on February 17, 2016 from her six month battle with cancer. She was born in NYC and resided in Chestnut Ridge, NY where she and her loving husband Frank raised three children. She was a very kind and loving person. Her family was her life and she enjoyed and supported everything her children and grandchildren were involved in. Florence had a great presence in everyone's life and will be forever missed.
Florence is survived by her husband Frank, her children Joseph Romano, Francine Caputo & her husband John and Lucille Romano. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11AM at Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River, NJ with the interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
