

Frank L. Speranza, 61, of Hackensack, NJ, passed away on January 10, 2025. Born on July 2, 1963, in Queens, NY, Frank lived his life with passion and enthusiasm for his family, his interests, and the things that brought him joy. A devoted fan of New York sports, Frank's heart beat for the St. John's University basketball team, the New York Mets, and the New York Rangers, often spending countless hours following their games and sharing his fervor with friends and family.
Frank's academic journey took him to St. Thomas Aquinas University, where he earned a degree in Marketing, a field that would later shape his professional life. Throughout his career, Frank's sharp mind and thoughtful approach left a lasting impact on those who worked with him.
Known for his lively and often heated political debates, Frank was never afraid to share his opinions, and his ability to engage in thoughtful discourse was one of the many things that made him so memorable to those who knew him. His warmth, wit, and spirited conversations will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Frank was predeceased by his beloved mother, Barbara Lizzi and stepsister Suzi Miller. He is survived by his father, Ralph Speranza (Judy), stepfather Robert Lizzi (Maggie), sister Deborah Gorglione (Tom), brother John Speranza and stepbrother Michael Baehrel (Janet). He is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews Kyle Speranza, Thomas Gorglione, Kennedy Speranza Nicholas Gorglione, Ashley Kane (Kevin), Louis Cooper, Matthew Baehrel, Kirsten Miller and Molly Miller. Additionally, Frank leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.
Frank will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for sports, and his vibrant personality. He may be gone, but his spirit will continue to inspire and bring smiles to those who loved him.
Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home in Suffern, NY, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will take place at the Funeral Home at 7:30 PM. Cremation Services will be private.
