

Jean Peloux Alfred, lovingly known as “Papa,” was born on April 21, 1956, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He later emigrated to the United States, where he worked hard to build a life and create opportunities for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Yva; his children, Johnny, Marvin, Jeff, and Tamara; his brothers, Sauveur, Guy, Reginald, Boucard, Wisk, and Camy; and his sisters, Annette Solange and Nirva. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will cherish his memory.
Papa was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his warmth, his presence, generosity, and especially his dad jokes that brought laughter to every room. He had a special way of making people feel welcome and at ease, and his spirit will live on in the memories shared by all who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A viewing will be held at First Timothy Christian Church, 198 N Main St, Spring Valley, NY 10977, US, on March 28, 2026, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
A committal will take place at The Brick Church Cemetery, 221 Brick Church Rd, Spring Valley, NY 10977, US, on March 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
