John Turco

Ovidio John Turco, quietly departed this life Tuesday, December 20, 2016 died in Manchester, New Jersey. Born on December 13, 1933 in New York City to Michael and Mary Turco. In 1955 he married Margaret Donadio and the love of his life for 61 years. John was a service manager for 30 years at Movie Lab Film Laboratories in New York City. In 1986 joined his son’s business at Grasskeepers Landscaping and Turco Golf in Suffern, NY.

His beautiful life will be cherished in the lives of his children; John and his wife Luann, Dennis, Lawrence and his wife Maryann, and Margaret along with his 11 grandchildren; Anthony, Amanda, Jason, Jonathan, Samantha, Lawrence James. Brooke, Paige, Thomas, John and Andrew and by his great grandchildren; Bryson, Gavin, Isabella, Jackson, and Mia. Other surviving family members are his brothers Michael and his wife Geraldine, Robert and his wife Rose Ann and his sisters Rosemary and Connie followed by multiple nieces and nephews. John’s influence will forever remain in the lives whoever who knew him.

Visitation to be held at Wanamaker Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 2 - 5PM and 7 - 9PM. A Mass to be held at Church of the Presentation, 271 W Saddle River Rd, Upper Saddle River, NJ on Friday, December 23rd at 12:15PM. Private cremation will follow with interment at a later date.
