Joseph Neil Pipolo

Joseph Neil Pipolo of Suffern, NY passed away at home on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, surrounded by family and friends after his very short but strong battle with Cancer. He was born on February 13, 1953 to Charles and Angie (Pizzano) Pipolo and later married his lifelong companion Judy. Joe attended NY University where his research papers on Oral Implantology and Plastic Adhesive Dentistry were published in the Bristol Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental Journal. A graduate of the NY School of Medical Dentistry. He received his appointment to the faculty of NY University College of Dentistry in 1993 as Instructor, Restorative and Prosthodontic Sciences (Prosthodontics). He was a beloved husband, father, son and nephew. He was often referred to by many as "Our Fearless Leader" and "Never Say No Joe" as well as "our one big giant teddy bear". Joseph touched the lives of so many and leaves a void which will never be filled.

He is survived by his wife Judy, children Danielle and Charlie and Charlie's fiancée Samantha Gooler and his aunt, Nettie Pizzano. His parents; Charles and Angie predeceased him. Angie unfortunately passed away last week.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Saturday, August 17, 2013 and Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10am. Cremation will be private.
