

Born on October 4, 1923, he was the son of the late Joseph Lillo and Mary Lillo.
At the age of 17, Larry headed to the recruitment office with his dad and enlisted in the Navy where he would serve in World War II as an engine room operator on the aircraft carrier, USS Ranger. After completing 4 years of service he returned home and began his career in the automotive industry. Larry owned and operated an automotive repair shop in Mt. Vernon, NY and after many years he transitioned into the automotive parts business. Prior to retirement, Larry enjoyed a 10 year career with AT&T.
Larry was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Millie, and his daughter, Mary Ann Binghi.
Larry is survived by his children, Lorraine Grater and husband, Ed of Cortlandt Manor NY, Joe Lillo and wife, Leslie of Ijamsville, MD and Larry Lillo of Monroe, NY,; grandchildren, Jennifer Binghi, Jon Grater and wife Danielle, Brian Binghi and wife Tara, Marc Grater, Andrea Eirand and husband Jimmy, Jeffrey Grater and wife Ashley, Nick Lillo, Larry Lillo, Tom Lillo, Mike Lillo, Grace Lillo and Erica Lillo along with six great grandchildren. Larry is also survived by his loving companion of six years, Vivian Haley.
Visitation will be on Tuesday November 14, 2017, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday November 15, 2017, 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY. Entombment at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, New York
