Leonore A. Davis

Leonore A. Davis of Stony Point, NY passed peacefully with her family and friends by her side on February 22, 2018. She was 76 years old. She was born in New York City on September 12, 1941 to the late Joseph and Veronica (Baranek) Kujanik. She grew up in Spring Valley, NY and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1958. She married her best friend Marshall (Skip) Davis in 1960, and raised their 3 children in Hillburn, and Sloatsburg, before finally settling in Stony Point, NY where they have lived for the past 32 years.

Leonore is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Skip, her devoted daughter Nancy (Rocco) DeBellonia of Stony Point, NY and her 5 grandchildren Kristen (John) Modena, Brittany Massaro (TJ Farkas), Robert, Nicole and Amanda DeBellonia. She was a cherished sister-in-law and favored aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was very blessed to be a great-grandma. Leonore is now reunited with her children, Janine (2016) and Michael (1986), both of whom she loved and missed.

Lee will forever be remembered for her devotion and love of family, the many vacations she took with her family and friends, doing crossword puzzles, her enjoyment of playing Words With Friends, and playing Uno with her granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 4-8PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, 10AM at Sacred Heart Church, 129 Lafayette Avenue, Suffern, NY followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
