

Born on December 20, 1969, Lesly was a kind-hearted and creative soul whose warmth and unique spirit touched all who knew him. He graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where he cultivated his love for learning and creativity. Throughout his life, he worked in various roles, including time at Barnes & Noble and Tilcon, and most recently as a manager at Pearson Education in West Nyack.
Lesly had a passion for gaming and was an avid collector and painter of models. He cherished the joy of tabletop and computer games as well as the immersive worlds of movies, sharing these interests freely with friends and family. His enthusiasm for his hobbies was infectious, and his creativity inspired those around him.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Anne Marie Cadet; his sister, Nejla Cadet; his brother Fitzpatrick Cadet and sister-in-law Somaly Preap; his cherished niece, Farhana; and his nephew, Alexander. Lesly’s presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home on Saturday, May 10th, from 8am to 9:30 am. Following the service, Lesly will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack.
