Nicola was born to Antonio and the late Anna Isernia on April 22, 1967, in Sperone, Italy. He graduated from Suffern High School and went on to work for the Town of Ramapo for 18 years and RJM Plumbing in South Carolina until his passing.
He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and watching sports. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers and his favorite soccer team was Juventus. He also loved taking care of his beloved truck and doing yard work.
Nicola is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years Jennifer Isernia and by his cherished children Athena, Nicolette, and Nathan Isernia. He is also survived by his father Antonio Isernia, caring brother and sisters Josephine Romano (Richard Romano), Augustine Isernia (Heather Isernia), Maria Ives (Anthony Ives), and Elia Flynn (Charles Flynn), and many adored nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church, Suffern, NY with burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
