

Pasquale J. Nigro of Yonkers, formerly of Oak Park, IL and Bronx, NY passed away peacefully on June 5, 2013. Patsy was born on April 3, 1920 to Nicholas and Rocca Nigro, the fifth of six children. After graduating from East New York Vocational High School in BrooklynNY, Patsy served in the Army Air Corps and was a proud veteran of World War II. He was employed by the General Motors Assembly Plant in Tarrytown NY for 30 years and was a member of the UAW. He was married to Jeanette (Moschitta) for 54 years, who pre-deceased him in January 2003. Patsy is survived by his son, Nicholas (Regina) of Yorktown Heights, NY, and his daughter, Joan Wezel (Warren), of West Nyack, NY. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, James, Michael (Debra), Caitlin and Nicholas (Iris) and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9th from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Rt. 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Suffern, NY. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
