Pierre Desroches was born on April 15, 1969, in Camp-Perrin, Haiti, to Flavie Milord and Nereus Desroches. The youngest of eight children, Pierre completed his basic schooling and later moved to the Jaquet Toto neighborhood in Port-au-Prince. There, he attended professional school to study mechanics. In Jaquet Toto, Pierre met his wife, Gislene Desroches, and they were married on January 18, 1997. In 2000, Pierre migrated to the USA, settling in the Spring Valley, NY area.

Pierre was known by many as an easygoing, calm, kind, and gentle person who always avoided confrontation. He was a devoted father to three sons and made every effort to raise them in the modern world, being not just a parent but also a friend to them. As a husband, he was kind, and loving, and provided reassuring words to his wife.

Although raised Catholic and once aspiring to be a Catholic priest, Pierre recently studied the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses and found his spiritual path there. On July 14 2024, Pierre passed away peacefully due to illness. He is survived by his wife, Gislène Desroches, and his three sons: Jean Widmax, Rudolph, and Darrel Desroches. He also leaves behind his siblings: Marie Carmel Desloin, Marie Francoise, Osmeline, and Alphonse Desroches.Pierre's gentle spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
