Ralph V. Jeffrey

Ralph V. Jeffrey of Suffern, NY. Died April 13, 2015 at age 88. Born May 29, 1926 in Bronx, NY to Ralph and Jennie (DeMayo) Jeffrey. Ralph was a Past President and well respected member of the Order Sons of Italy Vincent Linguanti Lodge. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 1447, the Ramapo Seniors and a member and event organizer for the Suffern Seniors. He is survived by his beloved wife Rose (nee Colarusso) Jeffrey, devoted children Carol Brower (husband Jim), John Jeffrey (wife Jill) and Rosemary Donnelly, loving grandchildren Gregory Brower (wife Ellen), Julie Brower, Ashley Bouck (husband Michael), Daniel Jeffrey (wife Breanne), Chelsea Donnelly, Jessica Jeffrey and Brian Donnelly, cherished great grandchildren Emma, Lily and Jack Brower and many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a grandson Terrence Donnelly, brothers Robert and Luke Jeffrey and sisters Mary Slaker and Laura Lombardi. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Mass Friday 10am at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern followed by an Interment at FW Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead. In lieu of flowers the family suggests Scholarship donations in Ralph’s name to the Vincent Linguanti Lodge PO Box 155 Suffern, NY 10901.
