Robert J. Morelli, age 84 of Suffern, New York passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Bob and his wife Sarah Morelli of 62 years have resided in Suffern, NY since 1965. He is survived by his wife Sarah, sister Teresa Keaveny, and his children Richard (Joan), Gregory (Mary Ellen), and Donna Morelli. Bob and Sarah have 4 grandchildren, Robert (27) John (25), Lauren (22), and Alexandra (21) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Bob was pre-deceased by his parents, Gino and Nancy Morelli. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY where he met Sarah who lived around the corner, and the two married in1961. Bob worked in NJ and they settled there for a few years, eventually making their way to Suffern to raise their family.
Bob was a kind and caring husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Once retired and their family raised, Bob and Sarah spent time traveling together, spending many days at the beach in Spring Lake, NJ, and attending regular family gatherings.
Robert, Bob, Bobby, Mr. Morelli, Uncle Bob, Dad, Poppy, Grandpa, or however you remember him, will be missed by all who knew him.
