Steven Sanon

The Suffern High School senior was a great young man with a promising future ahead of him. He was excelling academically and was excited to move on to Buffalo State University, where he had been recruited to play college football. He enjoyed working out, loved to dance, going to work at ShopRite and spending time with his family and friends. Steven is survived by his mother Guerdie, father figure Marc Cator, sister Aviana, younger brother Isaiah, older brother David, newly born nephew Amani, grandmothers Louise Saint Louis and Monique Philogene, grandfather Jady Sanon, uncle Charly Sanon, Aunts Michel Saint Louis, Melissa Sinclair, Carine Sanon, Nathalie Sanon, Stephanie Sanon, cousins Casey, Brianah, Kelly, Caressa, Chloe and Gaelle, many more loving family members, many close friends, his Suffern Mounties football coaches and teammates/brothers and BOCES teachers and classmates.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00-9:00pm.

Final viewing will be at Gracepoint Gospel Fellowship, 384 New Hempstead Rd, New City, NY 10956 from 9:00-10:00am and the funeral service celebrated from 10:00-11:30am with the interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, NY 10952 at 12:00pm.
