Knipe, Thomas Edward of Suffern, NY. Died October 17, 2011at age 86. Born September 24, 1925 in New York, NY to Thomas Edward and Edna (Morheim) Knipe, Sr. He served honorably with the US Navy during WWII. Thomas was a member of the Mahwah Elks, the Fromm-Maxwell-DeBaun American Legion Post #859 in Suffern, the 40/8 Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Order of the Odd Fellows. Survived by his loving daughters Colleen Mueller (husband Karl) and Katie Rogosich (husband Daniel), cherished grandchildren Frank Rose (wife Dana), Karlie Mueller and Joseph Rogosich, a caring brother Donald Knipe and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen and his sister Edna Stankowitz. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59 in Suffern. Funeral Service Thursday11am at the funeral home followed by an interment at F.W. Loescher Veterans Cemetery in New Hempstead.
