She was born on October 3, 1935 in Voghera (Lombardy) Italy. The daughter of the late Olga and Peter Giacobone and sister of Richard Giacobone. Valda is predeceased by her husband Gustave Dadinos.
Valda dedicated many years of her life to Don Bosco Preparatory High School. She worked as a librarian and later in the guidance department. Val was a devoted member of the church of Immaculate Heart of Mary. She supported many charities especially St. Jude’s Research Hospital, The Humane Society of the United States and The Wounded Warrior Project.
Val loved dining out with family and friends, caring for her grand dogs Elvis, Ruby, and Bugsy and challenging herself on Words with friends on her iPad. Val was sweet, kind and never afraid to speak her mind! She loved a good laugh and never failed to have a good time.
Val is survived by her three loving sons, Gregory, Douglas and Peter Dadinos; their wives Linda, Cathy and Jeanette; grandchildren Kristie, Amanda, Dylan, Seana, Lindsea , Savannah, Lauren, Courtney and Adam; as well as her 7 great grandchildren.
