William Joseph Gannon

William is survived by his wife Eileen (Muller) and two sons William John (wife Kandra) of Tuckerton, NJ and Matthew Charles (fiancé Sara Lucheme) of Kent, NY. He was the proud "grandpa" of Garrett and Bryson. He loved his family as well as having a love for fishing and hunting. His greatest accomplishment and sense of pride was seeing his sons become the men they are today. William is also survived by his brothers Charles Gannon, Jr. (wife Joan) and Richard Gannon as well as sisters Phoebe (Patty) Baumgaertel and Joan Martin (husband James). Several nieces and nephews complete his family tree.

The family will receive friends at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59 in Suffern on Thursday from 1pm to 3pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday 11am at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, NY. Interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ. William made regular donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929. Any donations in his name will honor his memory.
