As a former co-worker, I feel very saddened to hear the news of Slava's passing.  He was a sweet man who always generously helped others. Please know that our thoughts are with your family during this difficult time.

Dear Uncle Slavik,
There are no words vast enough to capture the void you’ve left behind. Grief speaks in shadows and silence, and in both I feel the shape of you-the comfort, the steadiness, the quiet reassurance that made the world feel safe. I always believed everything would be okay, simply because you existed.
We were only seven years apart, two lives growing side by side. You weren’t just my uncle-you were my companion, my protector, my teacher in all the small, magical ways that matter. I remember you holding the bike steady as I learned to trust my balance, and I remember skiing behind you, my hands wrapped around your legs, knowing with absolute certainty that you would never let me fall. How lucky I was to have a love like that guiding me.
I am endlessly proud of the life you built-your hard work, your brilliance, your quiet strength. You climbed mountains with grace, and even now, I can almost hear the echo of your footsteps as heaven welcomes you.
But here, without you, the world feels dimmer. Your absence is an ache that settles into spaces you once filled so effortlessly. Yet even in this emptiness, my love for you remains eternal.
Slavik, you will always live in my heart, in my memories, in every lesson and every moment you gave me.
I will miss you my dearest uncle.
May your beautiful soul rest in peace.

I admired Yaro's fierce dedication to his work. There was no challenge too great. I also appreciated his sense of humor & laughter. Spending many hours a week in calls with him & the team since 2024, it was always wonderful to break the tension or stress with a laugh, which I made him laugh on more than one occasion.

It was my pleasure to also meet him in person in November 2024 in Fort Mill.

Rest Well, the LPL team misses you. You fought to the last and I'm glad you're no longer in pain.

My uncle came from Ukraine at a time when our family needed strength and guidance. He stood beside my mom and helped her raise and support her children (snd our whole family), becoming far more than an uncle to us. Growing up, he was always the “super cool” uncle: calm, laid-back, endlessly patient, and carrying the biggest heart. He had a quiet way of making everything feel lighter, safer, and somehow okay.

What I will always remember most is his kindness and the warmth he brought into every room. He loved deeply, especially his children, who were the center of his world.

It breaks my heart that our time with him feels so short. There is a sadness that words cannot express, mixed with a sense of frustration that someone so full of life and goodness was taken from us so soon. But above all, I’m grateful for his love and the role he played in shaping who I am today. He will forever remain a part of us. 

I love you uncle Slavik and will immensely miss you!😢😔

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Slava many years ago. He was a kind & gentle soul. He never raised his voice & was always willing to help me no matter how busy he might be. He helped me with my car when it broke down. His gentle smile was always a ray of sunshine in a gloomy day. I am blessed to have known Slava & will always carry him in my heart. Blessings on you all.
