Our beautifully spirited mother Yverte Jeanne Veillard 67 was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti on July 18, 1948 to the very fortunate Jeanne & Duranord Veillard. She lived a full life with her family and friends in Spring Valley, New York.
On October 27, 2015 our dear mother departed on an urgent assignment...
She would like us to know that her mission here is complete. In this life she worked very hard at selflessly loving her family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and everyone in between. On October 27, 2015 Yverte got an urgent call from God requesting her immediate return because he needs her for a new endeavor. The qualifications for this assignment requires a heart of pure gold, a loving spirit, at least 65 years experience of selflessly loving others, unparalleled generosity, ability to cook amazing meals, and especially passionate about taking excellent care of children. Due to the urgency of the call she did not have the opportunity to say goodbye to everyone. Her new job description requires full days of joyfully praising God, walking on streets of transparent gold, and helping Jesus with the upkeep of the many rooms in his father’s house.
This job is 100% stress free as all the pain and sorrow she suffered on Earth do not transfer to her new home.
She gets to listen to live majestic singing all day, surrounded by nothing but love in her new life. She also gets an added bonus to be re-united with loved ones that have gone before her and patiently awaits the rest of us someday.
She extends her sincere gratitude and a warm smile to all of us for having been a part of her life. Her final instructions include leaving the past behind and moving forward with peace and love making the absolute best of the time we have with each other while we still can.
We want her to know how grateful we are for the endless sacrifices that she made for all of us. We will remember the love that she has so generously showered upon us. Surviving her are her parents Duranord Veillard 108, Jeanne Veillard 105 her siblings Hilda Chatelain, Marie Yoland Eveillard, Vely Veillard, and Francko Veillard. Her children Erold Malette, Joanne Jeremie, Yves Jeremie, and Pierette Pierre, her grandchildren Lianna Jeremie, Adrianna Envy Pierre, and Elijah Alexander Malette, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Yverte is preceded by her husband Lucien Jeremie, her brother William Veillard, and other family members. It is with great honor that we thank her for the years she has invested in us through the good and bad times. We invite you to join us to celebrate her life.
