

Born in Guatemala on January 22, 1955, she was the fourth of seven children. She was the daughter of Francisco Javier Del Aguila and Luisa Rogelia Orozco Arriaga. She graduated as an elementary school teacher, but dedicated her life to her family.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a mission in the year 1978 in Guatemala. During that time, she served for a year and a half dedicating her life to share the gospel and serve the people surrounding her, especially the hearing impaired where she learned sign language.
She will always be remembered for her welcoming spirit and her unique ability to make a lasting impression. Her life was spent surrounded by people and enjoyed planning activities that brought people together whether it be through dancing or cooking a delicious feast with servings surpassing anyones imagination. She was an artist in the kitchen and created masterpieces for loved ones including a Presidential Candidate.
She is survived by her spouse Erwin Portillo, her children Ivania Hernandez, Aracely Campbell and Erwin Portillo, Jr. Her son-in-law's Gelyn Hernandez and Matthew Campbell and three grandchildren Jaslene and Adrian Hernandez, and Pierce Campbell and loving pets Maya and Toto.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 1 o’clock pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 14555 Lexington Blvd. Sugar Land, TX 77478 with interment at the Morton Cemetery located at 401 N. 2nd Street Richmond, TX 77469.
