Benito Aucencio Rodriguez

Benny was born February 18, 1943, to Filimon and Maria Rodriguez. Benny was the youngest of four children, which included his two sisters Lupe, and Carmen and his older brother Raymond. Benny was married to the love of his life Eva G. Grillis on June 27th, 1964. Benny and Eva were blessed with two sons, Benedict and Philip. Benny worked in the restaurant industry for more than 43 years and became close friends with many of his clients, which gave him much satisfaction and joy.

In his leisure time, and even more so after retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, sons and grandkids. He was an avid sports fan, loved to fish, traveling to visit family, and spending time at the beach.

His parents, his sisters Carmen Davila and Lupe Alvarado as well as his daughter-in-law Kimberly Rodriguez, precede Benny in death. He is survived by his wife Eva Grillis Rodriguez, his brother Raymond Rodriguez, his sons Benedict Rodriguez and Philip Rodriguez, daughters-in-law Julie Rodriguez and Heather Rodriguez, and grandchildren Jordan Rodriguez, Zachary Sipe, Connor Rodriguez, Tyler Rodriguez and Carly Rodriguez.

A rosary service for Benito will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9:30 AM with a mass of christian burial to follow at 10:00 AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Road, Houston, TX 77056. A committal service will occur Friday, January 7, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
