C.T. made his life entrance on November 25th, 1943 in Houston, Texas to Alford and Margaret Renfrow. C.T. was one of five siblings raised in Fresno, Texas. He went to John Foster Dulles High School and he studied at Sam Houston University. He was an All Star football player, Captain of the Football team, and voted “Most Popular”. He was a Distributor at the Houston Chronicle for 45 years and could he roll and throw a newspaper!
C.T. knew how to make everyone laugh and he was truly concerned about his family and friends, even strangers - always willing to give them a hand. He was a devoted husband, a wonderful father, amazing stepfather, dedicated brother and the best grandpa ever! His most favorite pastime was hands down spending time with his family and two little dogs - Peanut and Millie, followed closely by listening to Elvis and singing in the shower. He was adored by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and many nieces and nephews. You could just see the excitement in his eyes every time he saw them – he had the best bear hugs.
C.T. Renfrow is preceded in death by his father, Alford Renfrow, Sr. and Mother, Margaret Abercrombie Renfrow; Sibling, Robert (Bob) Renfrow of Fresno, Texas and his best buddy, Tex.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Kathy Renfrow of Missouri City, TX; siblings, Alford Renfrow Jr. (Shirley), Helen Hubenak(Johnny) and Carolyn Senior (Ralph); children, Suzette (Michael) Armalavage of Dallas, TX, and Rod (Yvonne) Renfrow of Missouri City, TX; Step Children, Paul (Angie) Raymond, Ben (Jennifer) Raymond, and Gabe (Jeni) Raymond and Grandchildren, Shelby, Ashley, Garrett, Julia, Amanda, Brooke, Brianne, Olivia, Bailey, Luke, Zachary, and Hunter.
In the end, there are three things that last forever, faith, hope and love. The greatest of these is love. C.T. was loved by many, and his memory will live on forever in our hearts. We are so blessed to have had him for as long as we did!
Tribute and or words of condolences may be left in C.T. Renfrow’s online guestbook at Settegast-Kopf.com.
