In Loving Memory of Danny Lee Davis
February 7, 1958 – July 21, 2025
Danny Lee Davis, beloved husband, father, friend, and lifelong Texan, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025, at the age of 67. A resident of Sugar Land, TX, Danny was born and raised in Beaumont, TX, where he built the strong foundation of values and character that defined his life.
Danny was the proud founder and owner of Danny Davis & Associates, a successful safety and manufacturing sales company that reflected his work ethic, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit. He built not only a respected business, but also lasting relationships with clients and colleagues who came to know him as reliable, kind-hearted, and full of wisdom.
He graduated from Lamar University, where he served as President of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, a role that reflected his natural leadership, charisma, and enduring friendships.
More than anything, Danny loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Carla DeShazo Davis, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage, and a proud father to his only daughter, Mallory Leigh Davis. He is also survived by his mother, Charlotte Davis; his sisters, Brenda (Davis) Fairchild and husband Max Fairchild, and Pamela (Davis) Lovoi and husband Joseph Lovoi; his sister-in-law, Terri Jankowski and husband Bob Jankowski; and his nieces and nephews, Tessa (Lovoi) Gibbs, Jeffery Fairchild, Jacob Fairchild, Jonathan Jankowski, Christopher Jankowski, and Olivia Jankowski.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, A.T. Davis.
He cherished his time spent with family and friends, found peace in the outdoors while hunting, and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Danny’s warmth, humor, and generous heart left a mark on everyone he met. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
A memorial service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held on Friday, August 1st at 11:00 AM at Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, located at 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to honor Danny by spending time with your loved ones, sharing a good story, or watching a Cowboys game in his memory
