

Francis Gerard Huber, a devoted and gentle soul, passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on February 28, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, Francis lived a life marked by service and dedication. He resided in Stafford, Texas, where he was a cherished member of the community.
In his early life, Francis was born in Chicago, Illinois, where he began his journey that would lead him to a life of commitment and service. He served as a private first class in the Marine Corps, demonstrating his dedication to his country. Following his military service, Francis became a longtime Correctional Guard in Chicago, where he worked diligently to protect and serve his community. Later, he continued his career as a Metro Bus Driver, further exemplifying his commitment to public service.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Huber and Margaret Huber. He is survived by his loving spouse, Herma Huber, and his daughter, Caitlyn Reisinger. He also leaves behind his sister, Cynthia Czyzewicz, who will miss him dearly.
A man of many interests, Francis loved to fish, finding peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus in Chicago, Illinois, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed to the community.
A Memorial Mass will be held in his honor at St. Laurence Catholic Church, located at 3100 Sweetwater Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479, US. The service will take place on July 1, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A catered reception will follow in The Church Hall at the same location.
Francis Gerard Huber will be remembered for his gentle nature, devotion to his family, and unwavering commitment to service. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
